This is undobtedly , together with writing, one of our most difficult tasks. Here I show some ideas, there are some links to good websites, and, at the beginning, a list of the monologues and dialogues that were asked in recent years' examination test in the EOI in Castilla y León. I hope it helps:

Speaking - Monologues - Ideas/Tips Upper Intermediate/Advanced
Here you'll find two links to sites with indications and samples for monologues and dialogues:
Monologues in Speaking Tests at the Upper Intermediate level are usually a few
minutes (4, 6) and before that you may be given 10 minutes to think
about what you want to say – sometimes you can take notes, or do an
outline to bring into the exam room, but you can't read them, of course. At
other times, they give you the outline (the topic with 3 points to mention), so
you don't have to brainstorm on ideas to tackle . These ideas could be jumbled,
so before dealing with them, remember to arrange them in the nicest (most
logical) order possible.

on this and on textual structure. Remember to give a good beginning,
with no grammar mistakes – a good intro for the topic. If you
cannot think of one, present the outline of the points you are going to
address.
I'm adding some

INTERACTION
You have between 5 and 6 minutes to discuss one of the following topics together.
You are required to use vocabulary and grammar structures which we have studied.

Try to discuss these issues giving both sides. At times you will have to argue 'against' what your partner has said in order to extend and deepen the discussion.
The objective is to interact at conversational level, not to win a debate!

2. Life-style: People today have an unhealthy interest in the lives of celebrities.
3. Work: Businesses and organisations should stop playing background music. Silence is much more relaxing.

Ask Yourself the following when contemplating your Speaking Exam
1.Have you used a variety of advanced grammar (especially grammar that has been studied this year)?
